Okinawa World Located in the southern part of Okinawa Prefecture, it came to Chiyoshiriku City. It is a replica of a city from the Ryukyu Dynasty, which has registered cultural heritage sites, namely old red-tile houses.
The building in the photo is the fiercest place in the ground war of the Pacific War, and it is a private house that miraculously escaped the uprising and remains. The scars from artillery shells received during the war are still evident on the pillars beside the walkway (the building was moved from the site of that time to here).
It has been used as a red experimental laboratory since it was moved.
I want to leave behind a lot of precious architecture to tell the history of the Okinawan War.
