群馬県長野原町河原湯温泉で厳冬の早朝に行われる奇祭「湯かけ祭り」 源頼朝が温泉を発見してから約400年が過ぎたある日のこと、突然温泉が出なくなってしまいました。村人たちは困り果てましたが、そのうちのひとりが温泉の匂いをかいだところ、ニワトリの卵をゆでた匂いがします。そこでニワトリを生贄にしてお祈りしたところ、お湯が再び出てきたので、みんなでお祝いする事になりました。 はじめは「お湯わいた、お湯わいた」といって喜んでいましたが、そのうち「お祝いだ、お祝いだ」と言ってみんなでお湯をかけあうようになったのが始まりです。 生きたニワトリが入った紅白のくす玉をお湯をかけて割っているところです！

地元、群馬県館林市にある 旧秋元別邸の紅葉が色づき始め 陽の光が一瞬だけ入った所を撮影しました? グラデーションが綺麗です。

秋の始まりの彼岸花 秋というと紅葉に目がいきがちだけども、彼岸花も秋の始まりを教えてくれます。 辺り一面が彼岸花で、まるで赤い絨毯がひいてあるかのような赤さでした。 これは群馬県にある御獄山自然の森公園で撮りました。 ちょうど夕方で、黄色っぽい優しい光で赤がよく映える良い時間帯に撮れました。

9月になって、夏も終わって、これから秋がやってくるこの季節の変わり目にちょうど咲くこの｢彼岸花｣ 毎年、咲いている姿をみると夏の終わりの寂しさと、これからは秋なんだなぁと思います。 これは群馬県の境御嶽山自然の森公園で撮りました。 群生してる中でちょうど木漏れ日でキラキラとしていたので、キラキラを強調してみました。

これは群馬にある｢日本一｣というかき氷屋さんの、いちごのかき氷です。 氷は秩父の天然氷を使っていて、日光の天然氷にも変更ができます。また、いちごのシロップは手作りで作られていて酸味と甘みのバランスがよく、店名にもあるように暑い夏には1番じゃないかと思います。 かき氷は日本の夏にはかかせないものと思いますし、今では日本全国に様々なかき氷があって、より身近な存在になったのではないでしょうか。 そんなかき氷を、全体ではなくあえて美味しそうな部分に絞って撮りました。

春に地元で撮った夜桜。少し小高い所にあって、階段を上るとそこはライトアップされた夜桜のトンネルがありました。桜の明るいピンクが夜を感じさせないくらい光っていました。 コロナでゆっくり花見をすることはできませんでしたが、コロナが終息したときは皆で花見をしたいですね。

I am the representative of Ultimedia Inc., and live in Hachioji, Tokyo. I grew up in New York City until I was 7 years old and lived in Paris, France when I was in middle school. I worked in the construction industry between the ages of 19 and 27, and at 27, I joined an IT company. Four years later, I started my own company, Ultimedia, and ten years later, I launched COOL JAPAN VIDEOS. I love Japan so much that I only travel within Japan. My hobby is walking around and eating at various places, and I want to share gourmet and sightseeing photos from my travels. I am the representative of Ultimedia Inc. living in Hachioji City, Tokyo. I grew up in New York from the age of 0 to 7 and lived in Paris, France when I was in junior high school. I worked in construction from the age of 19 to 27 and jumped into an IT company at the age of 27. Four years later, I started my own business and established Ultimedia Inc., and 10 years after its establishment, I launched "COOL JAPAN VIDEOS". I like Japan so much that I travel only domestically.
