The Norn Minakami Ski Resort in the Minakami area of Gunma Prefecture, is an expansive ski area located on the eastern slope of the saddle between Mt. Azumaya and Mt. Omine.
As the Norn Minakami Ski Resort is only about an hour and 40 minutes from the city center and about 3 km from the nearest interchange, many people from the Kanto area come here for skiing trips.
Asama, Myogi, and Mt. Nikko Shirane, all of which are among the 100 most famous mountains in Japan, can be seen from the slopes.
You can enjoy skiing and snowboarding all day long because the resort is open until late at night!
