Chichibugahama beach I visited after a long absence. When I arrived, I was wondering what would happen in a cloudy sky, but at dusk I was able to see a beautiful sunset that I could not see on a clear day.

「Zentsuji Fireworks」 location : 香川県善通寺市・善通寺駐屯地 ＊ ～善通寺花火大会～ 例年、7月中旬に開催される善通寺まつり。初日は陸上自衛隊善通寺駐屯地を開放して花火大会を行い、最終日の総踊り大会では約2千人が繰り出し、熱い踊りで夏の夜を盛り上げます。

「Buddhist lantern festival」 location : 香川県高松市・仏生山法然寺 ＊ ～法然寺万灯会～ 万灯会は仏生山法然寺の真っ暗闇の境内で、全山約二千基の石燈籠にろうそくの火を灯し、送り火とするお盆恒例の行事です。ライトアップされた五重塔とろうそくの灯りがとても幻想的です。 ＊ ＊ ～Buddhist lantern festival at Honenji Temple～ The Buddhist lantern festival is an annual Bon festival event in which the candles are lit and fire is sent to the stone lanterns of about 2,000 stone lanterns in the pitch-dark precincts of Buddhist Mountain Honenji Temple. The illuminated five-storied pagoda and candle lights are very fantastic.
