I went to Kakunodate, Akita last April this year. I was looking forward for the Sakura trees but I went there a bit too early.

Although I couldn't see the full bloom of Sakura flowers, I still had a good time here. Kakunodate is also known as the "little kyoto" of northeastern Japan. Like Kyoto, it also has beautiful nature, good food, and delicious desserts. I even met an adorable Akita dog named Bukemaru. He is popular in that place, and I want to visit him again.
