Like vending machine, a public telephone booth also can be seen in several places in Japan. But unlike the other telephone booth this creats anmazing color contrast with dark red colour where the surrounding is covered with snow. This photo was taken in mount Zao in Yamagata prefecture

This was my first visit to any winter wonderland. It was taken from mount Zao, Yamagata prefecture. My intension was to see the snowmonster but to reach the snowmonster we need to take the ropeway. From that ropeway we got this fantastic view.
